BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Nov. 29, 2017 - PRLog -- Valarie Carey Reaves-Bey founder of TOTM! Time Of The Month!® has been advocating for menstrual wellness for the past 7 years. This year she is bringing the first of its kind resource fair to the borough of Brooklyn, the TOTM! Menstrual Awareness Fair. The fair is intended to give information on products, foods and services for girls and women to have happier monthly experiences.
At 1pm there will be a discussion panel on Wellness and your Period in the Community Room of Brooklyn Borough Hall located at 209 Joralemon Street in the Downtown courthouse area of Brooklyn.
Carey Reaves-Bey is encouraging men to attend the fair as well as woman and to even participate in the 12 noon yoga session that will highlight moves women can do while on their menstrual cycles.
"Since women shed blood monthly, why not give blood," says Carey Reaves-Bey who is promoting a blood drive at the fair.
"I'm really pleased to have the support of the Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams and hope this will be an annual event the Borough President's office will continue to support," says Val Carey.
