State dropping Interstate 94 east-west project in Milwaukee

Several weeks after Gov. Scott Walker and the state legislators declined to fund as part of the 2017-19 state budget a plan to rebuild a stretch of Interstate 94 near Miller Park, state officials are asking the Federal Highway Administration to rescind its authorization for the $1 billion project.
