Mission Prep (866-759-3418), one of California’s leading names in teen mental health treatment, has announced that they have opened new residential care centers across Los Angeles and San Diego counties.

-- Mission Prep is pleased to be helping more teens and families in need with the expansion of their residential sites across LA and San Diego. With a total of six centers in operation, Mission Prep can now offer more patients a place to heal, recover and grow.

Thanks to their expansion, Mission Prep can now house significantly more patients, and from their locations in Bonsall, Rancho Palos Verdes, and Rolling Hills Estates, they can offer gender-specific housing in spacious, newly renovated 6-bed homes.
Mission Prep has chosen to acquire more residential homes over placing more teenagers within each home to ensure that personal space is always maintained, and that each home offers a genuinely calming and restorative environment.
As their spokesperson explained, "Our adolescent inpatient mental health facilities are modern and thoughtfully designed to create a calming and supportive space for our clients. We believe that a welcoming environment is an important part of making our clients feel valued and cared for, which is essential to the success of their treatment."
With their expansion, Mission Prep has also been able to grow the size of their clinical teams and forge new connections with holistic mental health specialists, ensuring that the level of care they can offer is constantly improved.
As such, from all of their residential centers, teens will receive a personalized mental health plan that includes regular individual, group and family therapy sessions, and one-on-one mentoring.
Plus, alongside residents of their home and neighboring houses, they will also be able to participate in holistic therapies like Rock to Recovery, art therapy and surf therapy sessions.
They will also have the chance to join weekly mind, body and spirit enrichment activities at their Mission Prep home. These diverse activities—which range from nutrition classes to yoga, personal training and boxing sessions, and a gardening group—are also complemented by what the mental health experts call ‘experiential outings’.
Mission Prep gives all teens in their residential care program the chance to simply have fun at regularly scheduled beach trips, skateboarding afternoons, movie nights and go-karting excursions.
Because of this holistic approach—and because of their exceptional standard of care—Mission Prep is confident that each teen they help will make a meaningful recovery.
Their spokesperson added, "We believe that by providing a safe and supportive environment, we are helping our clients to grow and thrive, both during their time in treatment and beyond."
