Wilmington, CA - Healing To You, a nonprofit organization committed to providing trauma-informed care for survivors of abuse, assault, and violence, proudly announces the official opening of its Wilmington Comprehensive Community Clinic (WCCC) on May 1, 2025.
Located in the heart of Wilmington at 1703 N. Avalon Blvd., the new clinic marks a significant milestone in addressing healthcare inequities in South Los Angeles County. The WCCC offers a fully integrated model of care—including primary care, mental health services, mobile health units, and a 24/7 physical assault response team—designed to meet the unique needs of individuals and families impacted by trauma.
The clinic celebrated its Partner Preview Day on April 30, coinciding with Denim Day, a global event that raises awareness about physical violence. The event was attended by key community leaders and advocates, including representatives from:

“This clinic represents more than a building—it’s a lifeline for individuals and families impacted by violence,” said Cari Teran, CEO of Healing To You. “Our mission is to create a safe space for healing, where survivors receive the respect, dignity, and support they deserve.”
The WCCC is now open and accepting patients by appointment only. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Designed to deliver wraparound services that support the whole person, the clinic prioritizes not only immediate healthcare needs but also long-term healing, resilience, and culturally responsive care.
