From April 22 to 24, the WQA Convention & Expo 2025 was held in Long Beach, California. Hosted by the Water Quality Association (WQA), the event brought together professionals, enterprises, and institutions from around the world to showcase the latest cutting-edge water treatment solutions. With the theme “Innovate, Break Boundaries”, ANGEL, a global leader in water purification technology, presented a series of groundbreaking innovations—including its Ultra-Silent Diaphragm Pump and ANGEL Ionic Microsensor (AIMS)—demonstrating the powerful capabilities of Chinese intelligent manufacturing in water tech on the world stage.
Among the highlights was ANGEL’s Ultra-Silent Diaphragm Pump, which drew widespread attention for its ultra-quiet operation. The system employs a symmetrically distributed balanced drive mechanism combined with a micro-amplitude diaphragm, significantly reducing vibration and noise during operation and addressing diaphragm fatigue and rupture—two persistent challenges in water pump design. This technology ensures high water output with “library-level silence”, greatly enhancing the user experience. Recognized with a Gold Medal at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva in 2022, it offers a groundbreaking solution to the long-standing noise issue in household water purification systems.
Also debuting at the event was AIMS (ANGEL Ionic Microsensor), a breakthrough born out of overcoming the long-standing challenges associated with traditional water quality monitoring systems. Conventional systems typically rely on liquid electrodes, which are prone to leakage, lack accuracy, and are difficult to miniaturize. In response, ANGEL independently developed a new electrode technology, integrated with an intelligent analysis system, resulting in the AIMS. This innovation enables stable, autonomous operation for over 365 days without human intervention, marking a shift from manual sampling to intelligent water quality management. Previously honored with the Innovation Award at Aquatech China 2024 and the Global Tech Awards 2025, this milestone firmly establishes ANGEL as a pioneer ushering in the era of smart, visualized water usage for households.
Another standout at the show was the ANGEL Space Master Series Whole House Water Filtration System, which drew considerable attention for its market-defining design. Addressing household space constraints, this series combines high performance with compact form to enable under-sink installation of a whole house water filtration system. This design breakthrough shattered the limits of conventional systems and earned certification from the World Record Certification Agency (WRCA) as the “Smallest Whole House Water Filtration System.”
Throughout the expo, ANGEL’s advanced technologies and innovative products were met with high praise from attendees. In a panel discussion, Mr. Zhao Kai, Vice President of ANGEL Group, remarked: “The water purification industry is evolving from hardware-centric competition to service-based system solutions.
