BRANDON, MB - Powertec Solar, a Manitoba-based solar installation company, announced that it will host a breakfast presentation focused on farm and business solar for attendees of Manitoba Ag Days, taking place January 20-22, 2026, at the Keystone Centre in Brandon.
The presentation will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in the Assembly Hall at the Keystone Centre (#1 - 1175 18th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 7C5). The complimentary breakfast begins at 7:45 a.m., with the presentation running from 8:00 a.m. onward.
The session is designed for farm operators and business owners who have considered solar in the past and want an updated, practical view of what has changed in Manitoba’s solar landscape, including incentives and return-on-investment considerations.
“Many people have heard the basics about solar, but the details that impact decision-making often don’t get discussed,” said Tyler McPherson of Powertec Solar. “This breakfast presentation is meant to be a straightforward conversation about what farm and business solar can look like right now in Manitoba, including how rebates and payback timelines may affect an operation’s planning.”
Topics will include current considerations around rebates, the economics of solar for agricultural and commercial sites, and how project timelines and site conditions influence payback. Powertec Solar will also discuss environmental outcomes commonly associated with solar adoption and how those outcomes can align with operational goals.
McPherson added, “The goal is to put a face to the name and offer an honest discussion, without pressure, so farms and businesses can decide whether solar makes sense for their operation.”
Powertec Solar noted that it will not have an exhibitor booth at Manitoba Ag Days this year, and that the breakfast session is intended as a focused, small-group setting for Q&A and practical discussion.
