Vice Admiral David H. Buss, USN (Ret.) Joins Academy Securities’ Advisory Board and Geopolitical Intelligence Group

Vice Admiral David H. Buss retired from the United States Navy after nearly four decades of service, concluding his military career in 2015 as Commander, Naval Air Forces. Prior to this, he served as the deputy commander of U.S. Fleet Forces Command and held a series of senior operational commands, including leadership of an aircraft carrier battle group, a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, naval aviation units, and a Pentagon-based strategic think tank. Following his retirement from active duty, Admiral Buss transitioned to the private sector, serving as President of Cubic Global Defense, Chief Executive Officer of OpenDrives, and currently as Executive Chair of SynthBee.

Admiral Buss graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a bachelor’s degree in physics and has completed additional executive education at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business School and the University of North Carolina.
