CI&T and Ford Leverage AI to Optimize Warehouse Management Across South America

CI&T (NYSE: CINT), a global partner in tech-integrated business solutions, and Ford, successfully completed the expansion of Wings, its parts and warehouse management platform, across South America in record time. By embedding artificial intelligence across every phase of the project, the companies reduced the delivery timeline by two months and significantly improved the precision of new feature development, ensuring the solution met the needs of the local market.

CI&T supported the adaptation of the Wings platform to ensure compliance with the tax regulations of nine warehouses across the region and accelerated team upskilling on a legacy system with more than 550,000 lines of code. With an aggressive delivery timeline, CI&T structured three dedicated teams that combined development and continuous support. This collaboration model ensured operational stability while new functionalities were implemented.

“When we looked for a partner to help us deliver a major initiative, we didn’t want to simply hire highly qualified talent, that would have been the simplest, and probably the wrong, approach. With CI&T, we built the concept of a single, integrated team: people open to innovation and committed to constant experimentation in the use of AI. This balance moved us out of inertia and opened new possibilities for what we could achieve,” says Wellyson Bianchini, IT Manager at Ford.

The use of GenAI through CI&T FLOW, CI&T's AI management system, combined with Ford’s proprietary LLM, among other tools, enabled the team to anticipate insights, consolidate critical information quickly, and adapt the platform to local requirements with greater agility and accuracy. Throughout the project, more than 4,800 minutes of meetings were analyzed and 50,000 lines of transcripts were processed, enabling faster knowledge transfer, clearer decision-making, and greater coherence across development phases.

"This is a clear example of how we combine business immersion, cutting-edge technology, and artificial intelligence to accelerate critical processes involving considerable data volumes," said Jean Frank, Senior Manager at CI&T. "More than just delivering a project, we were able to support Ford in transforming its logistics operation with speed and precision, directly impacting efficiency across the region."
