Nicole joins Dorsey from the Fourth Judicial District of Hennepin County, where she served as a Minnesota state court judge since being appointed in 2014. She received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School and her B.A. from Rutgers University.

As a federal prosecutor, Nicole chaired some of the largest and highest profile cases filed in federal court in Minnesota and served as the Criminal Division Chief for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Minnesota. Additionally, Nicole practices in the areas of intellectual property litigation and other complex civil litigation.

“Nicole brings a level of savvy and experience to Dorsey that will provide critical value to our clients,” said Bill Stoeri, Managing Partner of Dorsey & Whitney. “Her time as a federal prosecutor and a judge, along with her proven leadership abilities, give Nicole the tools needed to guide businesses and individuals through high-stakes situations in which futures can be on the line.”
