UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / January 21, 2026 / Marquis Who's Who honors Timothy "Tag" Galvin with inclusion in its Top Professional listing for his expertise in technical writing. Mr. Galvin is an established technical writer with more than 10 years of experience.

About Mr. Galvin
Mr. Galvin specializes in technical writing for interior design in the aviation industry. This task requires him to translate highly technical information from aircraft engineering specifications into clear, concise, user-friendly information that simplifies the understanding of the aircraft. He is also experienced in aviation business management.
In his current position, Mr. Galvin assists with aircraft options and outfitting definition from "nose to tail and top to bottom" before the aircraft is built.
Mr. Galvin says that his strength on the job is his "ability to focus and use my work ethic to hammer out projects. I am able to put blinders on and really home in on the objective."
A Strong Work Ethic
From a young age, Mr. Galvin's father, a U.S. Air Force veteran, instilled in him the importance of using correct grammar, speaking with proper pronunciation and having a good work ethic. His early interest in aviation was strongly encouraged and supported. Though he originally attended public schools alongside his brother, the family recognized that, for the boys to reach their academic goals, they would need a more rigorous education. Mr. Galvin and his brother were enrolled in a private school, where they learned the value of dedication and hard work, which he believes is vital for success in any endeavor. This experience gave Mr. Galvin the foundation he needed for his future aviation career.
Determined to enter the aviation industry as a pilot like his father, Mr. Galvin enrolled in an aviation program where he earned his Private Pilot License (PPL) with Instrument Rating. His goal was to become a Delta pilot, like his father, but he was forced to reconsider his career options during the 2008 financial crisis. Instead of becoming a commercial airline pilot, he opted to study aviation business management.
An Educational Background in Aviation
Mr. Galvin earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on aviation management from the Harbert College of Business at Auburn University.
While studying at Auburn University, he attended a job fair where he spoke with a recruiter for the aviation industry. Though pilot jobs weren't available, the recruiter urged him to use his degree to explore aviation sales. This conversation had a significant impact on Mr. Galvin, opening him to new possibilities.
Mr. Galvin shares this lesson with others, encouraging them to "be dynamic and open to new challenges. Be willing to learn new skills because you never know what opportunities life will bring."
A Commitment to Excellence
As a former member of the Young Professionals Council of the National Business Aviation Association, Mr. Galvin played an important part in helping it evolve into a more robust and cohesive group. Created to allow young professionals to network, the membership is dependent on an evaluation by the association and its council.
Looking to the future, Mr. Galvin seeks to uphold a commitment to excellence in his professional endeavors. His skills and dedication have been instrumental to his successful career.
