UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / May 6, 2025 / Marquis Who's Who honors Brooke (Brower) Kosich for her leadership in the health care industry, especially with regard to medical devices. As an experienced clinician, Mrs. Kosich knows how difficult it can be to manage hospital systems. As a leader at Medtronic and TeraRecon, her achievements in improving devices and introducing artificial intelligence (AI) technology are helping professionals while putting the patient first.

A Unique Educational Background
Mrs. Kosich's medical career is supported by a robust academic background. While she originally thought she would become a doctor, Mrs. Kosich found that she enjoyed the gray spaces of medicine far more. She initially earned a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology and exercise science from The University of Indianapolis in 2011, then went on to earn a Master of Science in clinical exercise physiology from Ball State University in 2013.
"I started taking care of patients post-major cardiac events or surgery," Mrs. Kosich shared. "The same thing happened on the pulmonary side. I worked with multiple disciplines at the hospital, from respiratory care teams, EKG teams, echocardiography teams and nurses to administration. It was a very unique position."
Beginning a Career in Medicine
After graduating in 2013, Mrs. Kosich became the director of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation at the Tomball Regional Medical Center, where she witnessed the daily struggles of professionals dealing with hospital systems. When a family member suffered a stroke that could not be treated, Mrs. Kosich was inspired to push past the barriers that prevented patients from receiving the best possible treatment.
This mission led Mrs. Kosich to join the medical device industry with Medtronic. Though she began as a clinical specialist in 2015, she became a senior clinical specialist at Medtronic CRHF and a Stroke Specialist III in 2019. The next year, she rose to the level of stroke solutions manager at Medtronic. With a passionate and patient-first mentality, Mrs. Kosich was actively advancing the cardiac rhythm management and neurovascular departments.
Joining TeraRecon and Entering the AI Space
Though Mrs. Kosich was already finding success, another opportunity came from TeraRecon in 2021. She was recruited to join the company's team as a global artificial intelligence sales specialist to help build their new AI portfolio. Recognizing the potential for AI technology to transform health care settings, Mrs. Kosich accepted the offer and set about commercializing their product, particularly the Eureka platform.
"There are so many AI applications on the market that can help alleviate some of the most complex problems we see in health care," Mrs. Kosich stated. "We are just getting started with AI, and although promising, adoption must increase so we can continue to innovate, integrate, and improve."
A Source of Success
Mrs. Kosich attributes her current success to her problem-solving and critical thinking skills, as well as her ability to empathize with others. These qualities shine through in the medical profession and are part of what makes Mrs. Kosich an effective leader in the industry. As a woman in a male-dominated industry, her leadership style is informing decisions and addressing complex problems.
In her current roles as senior therapy expansion leader at Medtronic and director of AI commercialization at TeraRecon, Mrs. Kosich simply hopes to continue impacting patients' lives. She is always aiming to improve as a leader, supporting the next generation of medical device representatives, and building teams that share her goals.
