Item 8.01 Other Events
     On January 26, 2007, Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company’s Board of Directors approved a stock repurchase program authorizing the Company to repurchase up to $20 million of its Common Stock from time-to-time in the open market or through privately negotiated transactions in accordance with Rule 10b5-1 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to the Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
