     On September 21, 2006, Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. issued a press release announcing the renewal of its contract with the U.S. Air Force in support of the Civil Reserve Air Fleet program for government fiscal year 2007. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
