Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure. 

On November 13, 2017, Resolute Energy Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it intended to effect a private offering of senior notes to certain eligible purchasers (the “Senior Notes Offering”). On November 13, 2017, the Company subsequently issued a press release announcing withdrawal of the Senior Notes Offering due to broader market conditions. A copy of each press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 and 99.2 hereto. The press releases are neither an offer to sell nor the solicitation of an offer to buy any securities.
