Item 8.01                      Other Events

On October 30, 2015, Owens Realty Mortgage, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it will release its third quarter 2015 financial results before the market opens on Monday, November 9, 2015. The Company will conduct an investor conference call to discuss the results on Monday, November 9, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET.  Instructions on how to participate in the conference call are contained in the press release, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
