Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.
On April 6, 2009, Michael G. Zawoysky resigned from the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of A.C. Moore Arts & Crafts, Inc. (the “Company”). Mr. Zawoysky’s resignation is effective April 24, 2009.

On April 10, 2009, the Company issued the press release announcing Mr. Zawoysky’s resignation. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
