Item 8.01 Other Events.

     On April 26, 2013, Harris Corporation (“Harris”) issued a press release announcing that it is exercising its option to redeem in full the entire outstanding $300 million principal amount of its 5% Notes due October 1, 2015. The Notes will be redeemed on May 28, 2013 at a “make-whole” redemption price as set forth in the Notes. The full text of the press release is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated in this Item 8.01 by reference.
