On April 24, 2019, CEMEX, S.A.B. de C.V. (“CEMEX”) (NYSE: CX) informed the Mexican Stock Exchange (Bolsa Mexicana de Valores) that CEMEX has adopted the United States of America dollar instead of the Mexican peso as the reporting currency of CEMEX’s consolidated financial information. This change in the reporting currency was approved by CEMEX’s Board of Directors with the prior favorable opinion of CEMEX’s Audit Committee. Therefore, as of January 1, 2019, including the quarterly information as of March 31, 2019 and for each subsequent quarter, CEMEX will be using the United States of America dollar as the reporting currency of the consolidated financial information.
