Item 1.04 Mine Safety.

On December 6, 2017, Vulcan Construction Materials, LLC, a subsidiary of Vulcan Materials Company (the “Company”), received an imminent danger order issued by the Mine Safety and Health Administration under section 107(a) of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977 at its Danley Quarry in Antioch, Tennessee. The order was issued to remove a customer truck driver observed standing under the raised hydraulic tailgate of the truck. No injuries occurred from the incident. The Company took corrective action with respect to the incident.
