On February 8, 2013, Mortimer M. Caplin notified Danaher’s Board of Directors that he has decided not to stand for reelection at the Company’s annual meeting to be held on May 7, 2013, and will retire from the Danaher Board following the annual meeting. Mr. Caplin has served on Danaher’s Board since 1990.
