ChipMOS REPORTS JUNE 2011 AND 2Q11 REVENUE
Hsinchu, Taiwan, July 18, 2011 - ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (Bermuda) LTD. (ChipMOS or the Company) (NASDAQ: IMOS) today reported its unaudited consolidated revenue for the month and quarter ending June 30, 2011.
Revenue for the month of June 2011 was NT$1,526.7 million or US$53.0 million, a decrease of 6.5% from the month of May 2011 and a decrease of 3.2% from the same period in 2010. On a quarterly basis, revenue for the second quarter of 2011 was NT$4,671.0 million or US$162.2 million, an increase of 4.5% from the first quarter of 2011 and an increase of 3.8% from the same period in 2010. Second quarter revenue is consistent with overall semiconductor market trends and in line with prior guidance provided on May 19, 2011 for 2Q11 revenue indicating a single digit growth compared to 1Q11. All U.S. figures in this release are based on the exchange rate of NT$28.79 to US$1.00 as of June 30, 2011.

ChipMOS June 2011 consolidated revenues included revenues of ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES INC., ChipMOS U.S.A., Inc., MODERN MIND TECHNOLOGY LIMITED and its wholly-owned subsidiary ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (Shanghai) LTD., and ThaiLin Semiconductor Corp.
