Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On July 6, 2007, Aleris International, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing additional information concerning the definitive agreement to purchase Wabash Alloys. A copy of that press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
