Insurance Co., Ltd. with International Court of Arbitration

TOKYO, Japan – February 26, 2007 – As announced on February 8, 2007, ORIX Corporation (TSE: 8591; NYSE: IX), a leading integrated financial services group, filed a petition with The ICC International Court of Arbitration located in New York on February 23, 2007, (February 22 in the U.S.) for arbitration between the Hanwha Group of Korea regarding ORIX’s decision to exercise a put option to sell its shares in Korea Life Insurance Co., Ltd.
