Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

 

    Aleris International, Inc. (the “Company”) is providing certain pro forma financial information and a discussion and analysis by management of the results of operation of the downstream aluminum business of Corus Group plc (“Corus Aluminum”) to certain potential lenders in connection with a proposed financing. The Company will also be making a presentation on July 12, 2006 to such potential lenders concerning the proposed financing. The Company is hereby disclosing the pro forma financial information and the discussion and analysis of the results of operation of Corus Aluminum on Exhibit 99.1. A copy of the presentation is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2. Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2 are incorporated herein by reference.
