Item 8.01. Other Events
On February 4, 2014, Identive Group, Inc. (the "Company") completed the sale of its controlling interest in Rockwest Technology Group, Inc. d/b/a/ Multicard US ("the Multicard US business") to George Levy, Matt McDaniel and Hugo Garcia, the founders and former owners of the Multicard US business. The divestiture of its Multicard US business is the result of organizational restructuring aimed at simplifying the Company's business model and enhancing its focus on its core market activities.
