Departure of Directors.

On February 5, 2009, W. Edwin Kee, Jr. announced to the Board of Directors of Shore Bancshares, Inc. that he will not stand for re-election as a director when his term expires at this year’s annual meeting of stockholders due to his recent appointment as the State of Delaware’s Secretary of Agriculture.
