Item 8.01 Other Events.
 
            Document Generation Corporation, a subsidiary of Acacia Research Corporation, and Origin Healthcare Solutions, Inc. resolved their patent litigation that had been pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, bearing Docket No. 6:10-cv-00482-LED.  In addition, Document Generation Corporation and Origin Healthcare Solutions, Inc. resolved their patent litigation that had previously been dismissed without prejudice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, bearing Docket No. 3:07-cv-00841-GPM.
